Our story
Zenivorn began at a dew-soaked eyepiece, and it has not strayed far since.
We are a small crew of observers who got tired of catalogs that sold gear by the spec sheet and never by the view.
Zenivorn is a curated catalog, not a warehouse. We carry the telescopes, eyepieces, mounts, binoculars and charts we would put in our own observing bags — and nothing we would not. Every instrument is chosen for one thing above all: the quality of the night it gives you.
We believe the best first telescope is the one that gets used, the best eyepiece is the one that disappears, and the most important accessory anyone owns is a clear, honest star chart. Our job is to point you to the right instrument for the sky you actually have — light-polluted suburb or mountain-top dark site — and then get out of the way.
Beginners are not an afterthought here. If you have never looked through a telescope, talk to us before you buy. We would rather sell you a humble pair of binoculars you will love than an over-specified scope that lives in a cupboard.
Three fixed stars
01
The view comes first
Aperture, contrast and a flat field beat marketing every time. We rank instruments by what they show, not by the longest number on the box.
02
Honest advice, always
We will happily talk you out of a purchase. If a €140 binocular suits your sky better than a €1,000 scope, that is exactly what we will tell you.
03
Built for the long haul
Dew, cold and travel are the real test of astronomy gear. We favour instruments that survive a decade of nights, not a single season.
From sky to shelf
Field testing
Every instrument earns its place under real skies — suburban and dark — before it joins the catalog.
Optical bench
We check collimation, coatings and star tests, and reject anything that cannot hold a clean point of light.
Honest notes
Each listing carries a field note: what it excels at, where it compromises, and which sky it suits.
After the sale
Questions about setup, collimation or first targets? We answer them — the relationship starts at checkout.
Clear skies start with the right instrument.
